In order to utilize the Screen Recording Assessment option, learners will need to enable the Continu Screen Capture Google Chrome Extension


Step One:
Click on the Admin section of Continu

Step Two: Click on the Assessments section

Step Three: Click on the Add an Assessment button

Step Four: Click the Video Assessment button

Step Five: Complete the Title of the Webcam Assessment 

Step Six: Complete the Author Name

Step Seven: Complete the Description

Step Eight: Add Tags to the Assessment (optional)

Step Nine: Click the Next button to continue

Step Ten: Complete the video prompt question

Step Eleven: Decide if this Assessment will be utilizing Grading Criteria or an Overall Points Value. (For this Assessment, we will utilize a Point Value)

Step Twelve: Select the Screen Recording option under Recording Type

Step Thirteen: Select the Recording Limit (1 - 60 minutes)

Step Fourteen: Select how many attempts a learner has to complete the Assessment

Step Fifteen: Click the Next button to continue

Step Sixteen: Decide if learners will see their completed grade (For this Assessment, this option will not be selected)

Step Seventeen: Set Minimum Passing Grade

Step Eighteen: Decide if learners will be able to retake the assessment if the passing grade is not met. (For more information on the settings for Video Assessments, please view this support doc)

Step Ninteen: Set the Graders for this Assessment. (For more information on setting up Grading for Assessments, please view this support doc)

Step Twenty: Assign Graders that are not managers to this Assessment. (For more information on setting up Grading for Assessments, please view this support doc)

Step Twenty-One: Click the Next button to Preview the Assessment

Step Twenty-Two: Click the X button to exit the Preview

Step Twenty-Three: Click the Create button to create the Assessment ready for distribution
